Free daily puzzles online, built for a short break

Daily Puzzle Fix is a small rack of five puzzles that refresh at midnight in your time zone. Each one is sized for a coffee break: the mini crossword takes about three minutes, the memory game two, and the hard sudoku maybe fifteen. Everyone gets the same puzzles on the same date, so you can race a friend or a group chat.

Your solves, times and streak are saved in this browser only. There are no accounts, no ads between moves and nothing to install. Missed a day? The archive keeps the last month of every puzzle.

Why a daily puzzle habit is worth keeping

A daily puzzle works a bit like a daily walk: small, regular and easy to keep up. Word puzzles stretch vocabulary and recall; sudoku and sliding puzzles are pure logic and planning; the memory game trains short-term recall. We won’t promise it makes you smarter, since the research on “brain training” transfer is mixed. It is a good way to spend five minutes, though.

For a longer think, today’s brain teasers come with a hint coach, and how to play sudoku walks you through the two moves that crack most grids. Puzzles are just one way to get that sudden click of understanding. The narrated explainers at ahaboo find the same click in why the Moon shows phases or how a leaf turns light into sugar.
